Upload Events from Race Director

Before uploading events, make sure you have completed the following tasks:

  1. Create your meet in AthleticLIVE
  2. Configure Race Director to work with your meet

Requirements

  1. Open your meet in Race Director.
  2. Go to Tailor -> Divisions.
  3. Click “List Divisions”.
  4. Select “File” under Report Output and click “Generate Report”.
  5. Save the file to your computer. We recommend naming the file “events.txt”.
  6. Open your web browser and go to admin.athletic.live.
  7. Go to your meet detail page.
  8. Click “Upload Events”.
  9. Choose the “events.txt” file you created and click “Upload File”.
  10. You’re good to go. People can now sign up for notifications from these events.

NOTE: This may upload RD Divisions that aren’t actual races. To remove these events, do one of the following.

  1. Before you upload events.txt, remove the unneeded RD Divisions.
  2. If you uploaded the unneeded divisions
    1. Go to your admin meet detail page
    2. Click “Manage Events”
    3. Click “Delete” next to the event in question.
    4. Confirm deletion.
