Configure a Mobile Field Scoreboard with FieldLynx

This article explains how to send scoreboard data for live field events from FieldLynx to AthleticLIVE. Turn everyone’s phone into a online mobile scoreboard.

The following software is required to connect FieldLynx with AthleticLIVE.

Setup Instructions

Place LSS File

  1. Click here to download the tmio.lss script.
  2. Place it into the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Lynx\FieldLynx Windows” folder.

Configure FieldLynx

  1. Start FieldLynx.
  2. In the top menu, click “Options” -> “Preferences”.
  3. Click the Scoreboard tab.
  4. Click New. Set Name to “TrackmeetIo”.
  5. Click Configure.”
  6. Set Metric to tmio.lss.
  7. Set English to tmio.lss.
  8. Click Settings.
  9. Match your settings with the screenshot below.
    1. Set Results to “Manual”.
    2. Set Allow to “Individual”.
    3. Uncheck Paging.
    4. Check Include First Name.
    5. Uncheck Affiliation Abbreviation.
    6. Check Auto Display Mark.
    7. Check Auto Display Next Athlete.
    8. Uncheck Auto Convert and Display Mark.
    9. Uncheck Only Output Valid Marks During Simultaneous Display.
    10. Click OK.
  10. Click Communication.
    1. Choose Network.
    2. Select Connect.
    3. Set Host IP Address to
    4. Reach out to for your Port Number.
Configure your field scoreboard with these settings.

Operate FieldLynx

  1. Within a flight, click the name of an athlete. That athlete will now appear under the Up Now heading of the field scoreboard.
  2. Enter a mark (with or without wind).
    1. For Horizontal Events, the mark will appear under the Last Attempt heading. Live Standings will be recalculated if that was the athlete’s best mark.
    2. For Vertical Events, the Jumps field will be updated. If the athlete cleared a mark, Live Standings will be recalculated.
  3. To manually send a mark to AthleticLIVE, highlight it and click the third big button (the one with a diagonal arrow pointing down and to the right)
